Oops, all the chocolate fell to the bottom!
I have ordered these before with no problem. But the one that came today . . . all the chocolate pieces have fallen to the bottom of the inside of the calendar. It’s obvious, because you can hear and feel them rattling AND there’s a bulge at the bottom. Oh, well, I will just open and eat the chocolate out of this one and buy one at the drug store to use as a calendar. So, I gave it stars based on past years, since I haven’t actually opened this one yet. 😅

It arrived on time and wasn’t damaged. Cute picture. Ok, done with the good stuff. Here’s the rest of it: ALL the chocolates were out of their boxes and roaming around behind the backing and it took me almost an hour to retrieve/reposition them, at which point I discovered that 3 were totally missing. They also do not look fresh at all. So disappointed, because it could’ve been really wonderful. A great gift if you’re the Grinch, but I will not be gifting this or doing business with this company again.UPDATE: Upon further investigation, I did discover the three missing chocolates. Still wouldn’t buy it again but just want to be fair.

Nostalgia fun
I bought this for nostalgia lol only problem is that some of the pieces had popped out of their positions and fallen down in the package. So some days I had 2 for the day instead, some days I opened it to an empty slot. Would still buy it again because it was just for me. It was cheap and a fun way to keep track of December.

Traditional
I’ve purchased these for my girls for years. These have created a memory and tradition that we will always cherish. That perfect little piece of chocolate with messages behind each door that help to keep the spirit of Christmas alive. A major plus is that I don’t feel quilty letting them have one first thing in the morning or right before bed. These are the best. Don’t stop making them ever!

Nice presentation
The outside has a nice presentation, very nice to look at it.The calandar was a gift for my daughter, she has never had an advent calandar. When she opened the first window however there was no chocolate it in it. All of the chocolates had escaped their plastic cups and ended up in the bottom of the calandar.Still nice to look at, but it took away from the enture experience. Don’t know if the cover became disbonded from the plastic chocolate container or if it just wasn’t bonded at all.

Disappointed
We have ordered Vermont Chocolate Advent Calendars every Christmas for a decade now. This year I am beyond disappointed. Not only do most of the calendars have the chocolate fallen out of its places which I get happens with shipping and has happened in years past from time to time – this year all the chocolate in all 3 calendars is turning white, yucky taste and clearly super old. My kids even say it’s gross. Such a sad way to start the holiday season!

The packaging was not good at all. It was open a little and it was only in a small package without anything protecting it from being bent. Not worth the hassle to return it, I’m sure the chocolates are fine but was very disappointed in the packaging

It’s great for what we need! My family has done the tradition using these chocolate advent calendars for Christmas. All the chocolate pieces are there but some shifted and the packaging was bent and such as shown in photos. Still fairly please to share this tradition with my son.

Was broken when arrived
When they arrived in the mail, almost all of the chocolates were not in the little sections for each day. I decided to just take them all out and make chocolate covered strawberries with the chocolate since they were all broken and out of place.

Product damaged.
The product package was very Christmasy, any child would like. The chocolate inside the calendar was scattered and broken, so that it would not work as a calendar. Would not purchase again and go through the trouble of a return.

Fun tradition!
I ordered two of these. One for my youngest son and one for my grandchild.One of them is perfect.The other a lot of the chocolates have moved out of their little plastic molded spots, so when you open the days number, you can’t get to the chocolate.That is frustrating.

Not able to use
Box arrived bent and all the chocolates slid out of there place and on bottom of calendar. I tried to open the bottom of box to slide the tray out and put the chocolates back in their spots but most were broken. 🙁

Shifted during shipping?
I used to get these every year growing up and was so excited to get one for my daughter. The chocolate is not high quality but tastes exactly how it did when I was a kid, so kind of nostalgic. Unfortunately, the first few days opening the door there were no chocolates as they had popped out and shifted to the bottom or sides. This happened several times throughout the month which was annoying but not the end of the world.

Chocolates were all bunched up at the bottom.
My kid likes the chocolates but she really has to work for them. The package came with all the chocolates bunched up at the bottom of the advent calendar. Bulging the package. So most days she has to shake it a lot to try to get a chocolate to come out. It’s annoying that it was like this because the artwork and writing inside each panel are really cute.

Bought as gifts…. arrived super quickly….. have not tasted the chocolates……did not come with envelopes so had to purchase them because the calendars have to be mailed. Advent calendars have always been well received …..I’m expecting these to receive the same reception.

My daughter decided she wanted a chocolate advent calendar this year and this is the one we chose. She said the chocolate was absolutely delicious and looked forward to everyday so she could open the door and get that yummy chocolate. Definitely made great memories with this!

Great tradition to start with grandchildren
For the past 13 years we have given the candy advent calendars to our 6 grandchildren. They look forward to receiving their piece of candy as they count down to Christmas. The little poems on the inside of the door is appreciated as well. The boxes are so cute that you don’t even have to wrap!

Chocolates Fell out of their molds
At least I bought this on sale!: the chocolates have all fallen out of their places in the mail so my daughter opens each window to an empty scene. She enjoys the chocolate but it is not quite as nice when it has been shaken from the bottom of the box…

This is super cute and affordable but all the chocolates were at the bottom so every time I push through a date I have to shake it to get the chocolate out. Luckily my 4 year old doesn’t mind as long as he gets the chocolate lol.

Chocolate was good but……
Was excited to order the advent calendar with the Vermont chocolate. Their chocolate is always good. The packaging for it left so much to be desired. First, the chocolate wasn’t in each little window in fact it had all fallen to the bottom and it wasn’t individually wrapped. In order to open a “single window” and retrieve a chocolate you had to try to shake it back into place. Overall very disappointing. Definitely won’t be purchasing for next year

I ordered 3 of these countdowns and I’m very disappointed how none of the candy is in the holders for the days. I like the story behind the doors my grandkids love reading it. Need to improve keeping the candy in days.

Very disappointing
This advent calendar is poorly designed. First of all, the candy easily gets shaken beneath the flimsy box and you open the perforated ‘windows’ to find an empty space. How festive is that? The windows are tricky to open as well. The numbers on the box are camouflaged by the art on the box. Overall, very disappointing.

Disappointment
Item was shipped in an envelope.Despite the envelope looking intact the item did not come as expected. The product was wrapped in cellophane, but chocolate was broken and loose, several of the doors were broken open and it sounds as if all the chocolate are in a pile at the bottom of the box – not nice and neat in the tray that I am expecting them to be in. Order and organization is important for this product to work as expected.Image my disappointment when I open it on Dec 1st to have my child start the countdown. An advent calendar is always the 1st gift our elf brings every Christmas on Dec 1st. I have ordered a replacement (at no cost), but the expected delivery date is Dec 12th…The blame is most likely due to the shipping and handling of Amazon – again VERY disappointed as these advent calendars are a yearly tradition in my household.

I was super excited and they arrived in good time but when I pulled them out of the box I could hear all the chocolates fall to the bottom and sure enough, there was a bulge at the bottom of each box. Arrived damaged
Contacted company about the damage package – received no reply : (Sent 2 advent calendars to one address – both appear to have come from the same location but one came in a box and the other was put in a package that the post office decided to fold in order to fit in the mailbox. Made it so the one advent calendar was unusable. Yes, they could hear the chocolates rolling around inside but could not access from any windows . . . isn’t that the point of an advent calendar? to be able to open one window a day and get a surprise?Considering the actual amount of chocolate in the total calendar – and the recipient cannot enjoy the day to day surprise -this was not worth the price and I am very disappointed it the lack of customer service.

Chocolate all fell to the bottom
The chocolate tastes great, but every night we were shaking the calendar in all directions trying to find a piece of chocolate. They were free to roam inside the box, not necessarily behind the door you opened.
