Love these!
I recieved my first set from my daughter as a gift and wanted another set. I mistakenly ordered a gold finish. They are ok, but I prefered the plain matte brown. The gold wash paint over the brown looked sloppy to me. Beautiful designed lantern

You need one of these
This light is the best. So easy to set up The timer is excellent for me… I always seem to forget to shut off the lights. Just wait to set set it up as it starts to get dark … that way you can see exactly where the light will hit your home … covering where you want it to go. The little pictures show up so nice. Many compliments from my neighbors

Smaller, brighter better coverage
I got this to replace an older first gen star shower as seen on TV . It had finally worn out. This new one is all around better with features i had determined I would look for in a replacement. Smaller, Brighter, sturdier housing, real starburst shaped lights, not just “dots” . The remote is a great feature I hadn’t even considered. Yes I would buy again, in fact I’m doing that right now!

I would suggest of showing the lights on a wall and I think designs would come up better than how I had it and I had it going to my front door and I should’ve did it to the side of the house probably will get more of these, and do one for the side of the house as well as the front

Nice evening pattern with the lights shining through
Overall I like these lights a lot. They are pretty at night on a patio. Two caveats though: first, I question the durability. they are beginning to show signs of rust in the bottom from rain. Second. The battery only last one season and I have tried to replace them but it is very easy to disconnect the soldered wire from them. as you change the battery, thus making them on usable. The photo cell also clouds up quickly. For the price maybe you wouldn’t mind replacing them every year, but it is a little frustrating to have to do so

Great light
I broke my outdoor projector which was several years old. I quickly bought this one as a replacement since it would arrive the fastest. It is GREAT!!! The colors are very bright and the unit works perfectly. In fact I ordered a second one after Christmas. I just hope they store well over the year.

Two programable Lasers in one.
So simple to use that instructions aren’t even needed. At 25′ it projects an image over 40′ wide and 20′ high.You can turn on/off the red or green Laser display or run them both simultaneously. You can also vary the speed of the light image from fast to slow. So much light action that it will attract the neighbors attention.

Nice when it works
So far, it appears that it will work for about days before I have to unplug it and plug it back in. Our Christmas lights come on at sunset and are turned off when we go to bed. Not sure why this unit can’t work every day. This evening it came on at sunset and now an hour later, it’s off. I can’t recommend this projector.

Perfect
This laser light show for Christmas has exceeded our expectations. On its own, it comes on every evening for the set amount of time, which is four hours in my case. Next night it comes back on at the same time. The graphics are pleasant, and you have full control over the timing, speed and cycling functions. I highly recommend.

Great lights
This projector light is perfect! I love how it comes with a remote, where you can control the speed, color and design. I also love how the default setting is the motion with both the red and green light, displaying all the designs (which looks the best out of all the other setting options). It shines really bright at night unlike my previous projector lights.

Not dusk to dawn
Works as advertised. So far so good. My only disappointment, it doesn’t come on automatically at night and switches off automatically in the morning. This option would have made it perfect. The remote control works well from a distance so I can turn it on from inside and set the timer to switch off automatically.

Great product

The media could not be loaded.
Colors are very bright, the setup is easy and the stake goes into the ground easily.It comes with a remote to change the patterns, I think there is 3 or 4 different ones.Projector isn’t flimsy at all, super sturdy.Definitely recommend

It’s bright enough for my liking, definitely makes my house look good. Serves its intended purpose. My only real complaint is that it shuts off after a while. Maybe it’s trying to preserve energy, not sure. Would recommend. was good for the price.

Nice simple design, no silly cartoon animations
I like this so much more than the one I had that projected silly cartoon stockings and santa faces, this is an elegant, simple design that doesn’t detract from the rest of my displays, it has a nice sparkle effect with green stars that “glint”

Bright and covers a lot but needs more options for what to display.
It’s very bright on the stars mode but not so bright when it does the shapes mode. The problem is you can’t switch modes. It just cycles through them automatically. I wish you could set it to only do stars.

Does not work well after two uses.
The remote works fairly well. The screw on the light doesn’t hold the small arm. I had to prop it against a tree. After two uses it doesn’t work well at all. Only a small portion of the lights are reflecting on the house. I definitely will not purchase again. The light beam is nothing like the picture displayed.

So-so coverage
If you want the lights to be bright, you’ll need to bring closer to the house, so you will only cover the middle of the house. When coverage is on entire house, barely see the lights.

Not as bright as shown especially if you have side lights on the house
You can see it but not as bright as shown in the picture. I was hoping that it would be bright enough. If you have side lights or street lights you can barely see the display.

Great for the price
I love how it lights up outdoor trees, and even indoors in the bedroom. The only thing I wish it did is flash slower than it does. The slowest setting is still too fast.

Projects, but electrical cord is not 15 ft. Long
The media could not be loaded.
The projector works as expected. The item description states the power cord is 15 feet long, but it is actually only around 10 feet. That extra 5 feet would have saved me from using an additional power cord.

This one wins!
Read and heed: fully seat the power wire in the coupling before tightening or it won’t turn on.Dislike having to use a remote to operate I have everything else hooked up to a switch.That said I am thoroughly impressed with this unit. High quality build and material. Laser is extremely powerful brightest I’ve seen. Patterns are clever and entertaining. I love this projector and highly recommend it.My unit came with a cover plate that I used to mount on a junction box. I mounted the box on the back of a Christmas tree I made from old wooden pallets. Or you can just use the stake to stick it in the ground hehe.The only problem is I have several other projectors I can longer use because this one blows them away. The other lights look like a seventies disco compared to this!

Not Much Control Here…

Works very well
We used this laser light throughout the holiday season. It was outside in the rain for weeks. It would always turn on via the remote from about 40ft inside our house. It was shining up onto a dark red barn, and the light was clear and visible.It does need to be “Dark” outside for any of these to work, and this one was just a bright as any we have. Once dark, you could clearly see all the shapes from our house. I placed this unit about 30ft at it’s nearest, to about 50ft at it’s furthest at an angle. I took one star off for brightness, these things need to be brighter but they are all the same, so it’s no different than others. There might be some safety code that keeps these at this level.After the holiday, I placed in my garage to dry out for a couple of weeks. I plugged it back in and verified that it still worked, everything was good so I packed it away for next year. Great construction and function. I recommend.

Good enough for the price. I wish the laser was brighter but we also have a dark wood colored house. On a white or light colored house I think it would stand out much more!

It doesn’t work well when you have a longer house than you tall.
I don’t like how it has to be used at a certain angle and mounted. You should be able to rotate the head of it to adjust focus or something. Sometimes you can only hang in one way & then you get stuck with upside down or sideways and upside down light shows! It just hasn’t been the easiest little light, to dealWith! It’s black in color and has red and green lights, that would be a perfect size, if we had a way to Change the angle! But you don’t have that option after hanging it! I mean you basically have to hang it in the correct direction or you get messed up images.

Lovely red & green twinkle lights
It seems these kinds of projector lights only last a few years. My previous two sets were no longer working, so I ordered these after reviewing many others. I just love the little twinkling starlike images. Many of the other lights had a variety of images like Santa’s face, candy canes, etc., which either looked like too much, or too ordered/symmetrical (images lined up perfectly in rows). This light adds a soft twinkle that I was looking for. I also like that it is programmed to turn on and off on its own. You can choose.2, 4, 6, or 8 hours on, and then it turns off on its own until the next day. No need to put a timer at the socket. I would love if this would last longer than just a couple seasons. Only time will tell.

Quite a show. This is the one I was looking for, although I wish it was even brighter
I went round and round trying to figure out which of the laser lights was the best for me. I initially bought a set of these https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07V82BJXC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00, but two things were missing. One is a stand for hard surfaces, and the other was a 24 hour timer. This has both, and as a bonus, it seems more brighter, with a broader, yet more dense pattern, in a nice small form factor, with what appears to be a very sturdy, well sealed housing.I didn’t think I would like the light shapes, as my preference was to have just moving dots, but it turns out they are actually quite fun, because of the clever way this laser projector transitions between the shapes and the dots. It’s really quite a show. My one and only complaint is that there is no option to do just dots, but this is not something I think most people will miss.My only disappointment is that the lights are not brighter. They are fine if you are standing in the driveway, but they lack the kind of drive-by bling I was hoping for. I do sort of wonder if I shouldn’t have tried one of the 10 watt models. That said, how bright they look will depend on your background light. The darker it is, the brighter these lights will appear.

Enough Intensity

Great features, easy install
Pros:Easy installationGood Light coordination, even around corners, somehowCool shapes and movement to draw attention to itCons:From a far distance, need complete darkness to see all the lightsNo real modification can be done to mount it on a post or some other spotElectrical cord is VERY shortOverview:Overall, this is a great price to pay for a device that allows you to forgo a lot of Christmas lights, and just stick to the images and sights of the season. The coolest thing about this is that the laser somehow conforms to the shape of the medium, and by that it mean it somehow found its way around corners and 180 degrees of coverage, and made it hard to shape the cone right, but man did it spread well. However, this unit doesn’t display well even with just ambient light, it did ok, but not great, it works best in complete darkness on the house it is being displayed on, and works better the closer it is to the house. The real drawback here is the cord and the mount, it only comes with a sturdy spike, but if it had an attachment to mount it to a board or wall with screws or a round mount for poles or fencing. For this price, its a worthwhile get before jumping into the expensive realm of house displays

These lights have mixed reviews, some due to weathering; so far, this particular one is working as it did when it came out of the box.But this year, we haven’t had any snow yet. That will be the weatherproof text.

So far so good after one week and hard rain!
The lights are clear, festive, very nice. We have a small house but the lights shine wide enough for a much bigger width home. I am hoping to get one Christmas out of this lighting and so far it has worked very well. The remote is nice because you don’t have to unplug this in order to shut it off, but you do have to go outside to use the remote (can’t do it from inside the house). We tried some other settings, but the best setting is the default so we just leave it on that. Haven’t really had a need for the timer. Tonight it rained pretty hard and I was concerned the light would not stand up to it, but it came through, still working. A good purchase for an inexpensive festive decor!
