his holiday season, I treated my daughter to the Crystal Advent Calendar, Rocks & Crystals, and it was a hit! Kids loved it
My kids loved this advent calendar. The sturdy cover that highlights the different types of rocks/crystals was really useful. We cut it off so that the kids are able to reference it as they rock hunt in the future. Fun gift!

Gift
I was bummed with the end product. The product was as described, but the shipping package had been torn into and the side of the product damaged. My daughter was okay with her bday gift. She had chosen it for her 11 year old gift. But I was bummed that the shipping carrier didnt do a better job.

Awesome Advent CLendar
This Advent Calendar is more than 5 stars. Photos show crystals identifications. Each day as opened we still have 3 left. And in order the crystal or accessories in each day. Beautiful stones. Included so far was storage bag and 3 Keychains which you can add you favorite stone inside a spiral on the chain. Will order again. Loved it and so did my husband as we took turns opening a day.

Creative advent calendar
My daughter loves gemstones and when I saw this figured she’d like it. She absolutely LOVES this. She looks forward to opening a new one everyday and she’s been really happy with every stone so far. I was impressed with the little gifts you get as well on top of a different stone everyday. This was a great value considering some of the chocolate ones are the same price.

My kid loved it! I was struggling to find an Avent calendar because my kid has celiac and most chocolate calendars have gluten. This was a welcomed and great alternative. My kid loves crystals and enjoyed this item very much

Not put together well
It’s a nice idea for an advent calendar but the design is very poor. There is nothing securing the rocks and stones in their places so as the box was moved around in shipping all of the rocks and stones from the top rows have fallen down behind the cardboard into all of the lower spaces. I guess my daughter will have a lot of surprises as she opens the lower rows because that’s where everything is. In the future make the packaging better. Maybe looks for a different calendar if this is the type you want

Very Disappointed/Not Worth Purchasing
I was so looking forward to the advent calendar but was disappointed when I opened Day 1 and nothing was in there. 🙁 The way it is made, it couldn’t have fallen out or fall into another day. I am still opening the days and will write another review when I have completed all 24 days. Day 24 – almost have of the gems were cracked, very disappointed in this and a few of the items looked like colored glass. Definitely Not worth purchasing.

Lots of missing rocks!
Bought this for our rock loving three year old daughter. She is so excited each day to open a new rock. We’ve ended up in tears four days though over opening empty days. Today was another opening of a day and yet again no rock. Very disappointed in this.

Gorgeous gift for any child
Update: This was a huge hit over the holidays. Everyone was impressed with the quality and contents of this lovely advent calendar — children and adults. Highly recommended.This beautifully-presented advent calendar is filled with gorgeous polished rocks in a of colors. Several of the stones were almost cube shaped, which made them particularly appealing. In addition to the many stones, the package contains a multi-colored stone bracelet, a thick fabric pouch, settings for two keychains and a necklace (with a gold wire cage that you can pop a stone into), and an interesting three-item stone mystery gift which includes stones cut into familiar shapes. The packaging and presentation is lovely, and comes across as very high end, like something you might buy in a museum shop or fancy gift store. Two minor issues — somehow the stones were moved around in transport, so not every “door” had a stone behind it, and some doors had multiple stones. I just pulled out the tray and rearranged to make sure there was a stone behind every door. I was surprised to see that, as the box itself is quite sturdy and there didn’t appear to be any damage. My only complaint/suggestion — there is no guide or directory, so you don’t really know what the stone is behind each specific door. There is a chart that shows all of the stones and provides interesting descriptions. And some are pretty obvious. You are unlikely to misidentify the bright pink strawberry quartz or the black and white speckled Dalmatian jasper. But some of the other stones are less obvious, and it would be nice if the stone behind each door were identified, rather than requiring the recipient to figure it out on her own. Overall, though, this is a great gift and should be well-received by the lucky recipient.

I have to be honest and say I got this for myself. I love gemstones and wanted to see what came in this. I love this gemstone advent calendar! It’s been a fantastic addition to my holiday traditions. Enjoyed by child
Quality could’ve been better. My adult child saw some of them that the younger kid had opened and thought a few were likely fake for what it was implied they should be. A few of the rocks were hard to figure out what they should be as the coloring didn’t match any of the examples.But it was still decent daily activity to entertain a kid that might want a break from the standard cheap chocolate advent calendars from the grocery stores

Most fun Advent calendar I’ve ever used!!!
I ordered this to try with my 3 year old daughter, as I love rocks/gems/crystals and she loves to collect “pretty little things.” She opened the first box and was immediately hooked…. we then opened the rest of the calendar right then and there. The little tumbles provided were lovely and I had a lot of fun trying to figure out what they each are. My daughter was also delighted because in one of the boxes, she received a beautiful chip bracelet and two adorable little carvings (one was a mushroom and the other was a DT). I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves rock collecting. We loved it!

Not really an advent calendar. More of a craft kit.
My daughter loves gemstones so I thought this would be perfect. As I moved the box around it sounded like the stones were loose in the box. Before giving it to her I decided to open the box and check. It’s a good thing I opened it right side up, otherwise the stones would have gone everywhere. It’s just a styrofoam tray with individual sections for the stones which are open so you can see them. There are no numbers for counting down, no opening each day to a surprise. There are pieces for making jewelry with the stones like a craft kit. I will not be giving this to my daughter. Highly disappointed and definitely do not recommend.

Some of the stones are fake, they are glass. And some of the other stones are not what they claim to be, they are cheap and low quality.

Nice start to a rock collection
This advent calendar is the real deal. It arrived exactly as pictured. The inside of the advent calendar is foam so the rocks and crystals are all padded and don’t get busted up in shipping. The information on the flap matches up with rocks included. There is a section that says “Open now” which has the necklace and shaped crystals in it (heart, mushroom, point). The final day has the storage bag, the 2 keychains and bracelet. And in between there is a different rock or crystal in each day. Looking thru the rocks, everything looks as it should. This would be a good advent calendar for anyone who likes shiny rocks.

I didn’t include any pics of what’s inside, as I don’t want to ruin the surprise. That said, you get variations of the stones pictured, a bag, a bracelet, and coiled wire pieces for making your own wearable. The value for the money is totally there. A fun and different way to count down the days for sure!

I can’t wait to get started
I love this Advent calendar. And I love that it’s gemstones. Well actually it’s natural crystal rocks. It does come on the inside of the calendar a list of all the different types of stones that you will be getting each day. And that is so wonderful because now when you get your stone out you can look at your reference list and see exactly what it is and what it’s used for. It also comes with a few extras and I think it’s to put the rocks into a cage so you can make it into a necklace. Which I don’t plan on doing that with but it’s a good addition. I’m so excited! I don’t like to say come on get this over with because who wants to wish their life away but… Still so excited!

Nice set of authentic specimens
This set has an “open first” flap which reveals a carrying sack, and keychain holders as pictured. The first two days have the necklace holder and multiple smaller pieces as pictured. I guess the selection is somewhat random since I got multiple dalmantion jaspers. The gems have a cool feel and appear to be authentic. This would be a fun gift for any gem collector.
