This is so different once you plug it in so pretty the projection on the ceiling they give you different ones to switch out I think 6 different ones. All are so pretty very happy with my purchase.

I love this, it’s so pretty, my tree is 7.5ft and my ceiling is probably 9 or 10 ft at its highest so I get a reasonably wide projection …. I could sit and look at it all night. I would recommend bunching a few of your top branches together to hold it in place.

For a shorter tree
Not made for a tall tree if you have shorter ceilings.The designs won’t show up I have a 7.5 ft tree in a house with 10ft ceilings, the designs are great but won’t work on the top of my tree

Lovely Tree Topper

I’m glad I purchased this tree topper. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered it, but it’s very functional and pretty.The snowflakes projected on the ceiling are very well detailed. FYI-the picture/video of the tree depicts a six foot tree against a nine foot ceiling.

A Different look on the tree

Stars are clumped
The stars that project from the star go straight up and don’t fan out like the picture It would be like holding a flashlight an inch from a wall, rather than a larger circle.

Pretty tree tooper
There is no remote control for this which sucks but it’s an easy fix just buy a timer and it’ll turn on with your tree. It’s definitely different and adds extra decoration so that’s nice and it’s sooooo very pretty.

Nice but too heavy
Star kept falling over because it’s too heavy. Will need a super strong tree at top for it to hold up. Otherwise, great product. Just make sure the tree isn’t close to the ceiling. Otherwise you’ll barely see the lights.

Cheaply made
We tried for over an hour to get this topper to stay in place with no luck at all. I agree that the lights on this topper are cool but if you can’t get it to stay in place it doesn’t matter. Now we do have a nine foot tree and that may play a factor as to why we could not get it to stay on the tree

Big disappointment!
The projection is tiny, not at all like the pictures. My tree appears to be close in size to the one in the listing, but all I get is a tiny, embarrassing display. Description should say that your tree needs to be miniature to get a good projection.

Does not actually project. Wish I could return.
It was easy to install, but the projector function is terrible. This might work if you don’t have bright lights on the tree, but otherwise I couldn’t see the projected sights on the ceiling. Bummed!

this star is awsome my kids love it. Never going back to a normal star. Just keep inmind the closer the tree is to the ceiling. The smaller the projection you’ll see on the ceiling. So if your tree’s close to ceiling i don’t recommend it.

This tree topper was amazing, it projected snowflakes unto the ceiling and rotated. Beautiful, everyone loved it and kept asking where I bought it. Dim the lights in the room to experience the beauty. The higher the ceiling the bigger the projection.

Projection not as large as I thought it would be, but still ok for the price.

I was misled by a previous customers answer to think the projection would be larger, so felt a little disappointed that the actual projection on the ceiling was only 2-3 feet in diameter when the projector from the top of our tabletop there was 3-4 feet away from the ceiling. But still cute and keeping it. Have included photos and video so you can see for yourself.

Really cool
We turn the lights out at night and turn on the tree. This is really pretty and the pattern moves on the ceiling. I will say the more room you have from the top of your tree to your ceiling the better the look.

Fun take on a tree topper
My kids loved this addition to the tree this year. I had two Critiques though. We have a normal ceiling height in our livingroom where our tree is. There was about two feet between the top of our tree and the ceiling so the projection of the stars were tiny. I think this on a tree in a room with high ceilings would be better.My second critique, it didn’t stay straight on our tree. We have a 6.5 artificial tree— which could have been the problem, but I had to stuff many branches in the bottom of the topper for it to hold in place and even in place it wasn’t completely straight.Regardless I will still use this year after year. I loved the added element of the projection.

Fun!
Ours did not come with a remote, which is fine. It’s for our office tree and we just wanted a little extra as a topper. My only “complaint” is that the base of this topper is WIDE and did not want to just perch on top. We had to stuff it to get it to hold. Maybe next year we’ll shove an extra branch or two into the base? Regardless, if you can get it to stay up it projects beautifully.

My only reason for not giving 5, technically I’d give it a 4.5, is because of weight– which really isn’t a big deal. It can’t property sit at the top because it’s a hefty boi. I jammed it in between some branches and it’s holding just fine no one would be able to tell. It’s a cute tree addition to a tree! The white flakes photograph as blue but it has gold and white snow flakes, to the eye its not blue Worth 40 dollars? Ehhh, depends. The topper itself ain’t all that cute. Simple and gold glitter but hey, it doesn’t give false appearances. Looks like the photo The projector is why I got it so far I’m pleased. 🙂

MEASURE THE TREE TO CEILING HEIGHT!!
There is no remote control. I like it, BUT make sure to measure (as best you can) the space between the ceiling and the top if your tree. Then subtract the height of the snowflake topper. If you don’t have 4+ feet of space then the snowflake projection on your ceiling will be very small. I have a 7′ tree and 10′ ceilings, and my projection was about 5″ in diameter. It looked weird.Luckily I also have a small 3′ tree in the living room and the topper looks great on that. The projection on the ceiling is much bigger and looks great.

I wish they would cover the sides…
I dont like that they did not cover the side of the star so the insides wont show. I wish they could work on making the tree topper aesthetic from all sides of the tree especially the purpose of it is to look nice. Other than that, it seems to work fine.
