What are people expecting for $12
For the price this is an excellent throw. It’s about the thickness of fleece sleep pants but super soft.I gifted this blanket to my mom last Christmas and she loves it. It’s the perfect size to cover her lap and feet while sitting in her chair. It also keeps her toasty warm.The best part? It’s held up amazingly well. My mom is a compulsive cleaner, she washes this blanket at least once a week. I thought for sure it wouldn’t be able to take the abuse and was fully prepared to buy another midway through the year. Happily it’s still going strong for this Christmas! No pilling, no fading, no wear spots, and it’s still soft. I’m back here to buy her another one with a different design for this Christmas.As to the negative reviews I can only guess they were expecting Eddie Bauer blankets at Wal-Mart prices. Yes it’s thin, but that doesn’t take away from the warmth and softness it provides. So for those people with realistic expectations and who don’t like being weighted down this throw is perfect for you.

This blanket is everything the description says it is. Soft, pretty, lightweight and very festive for Christmas. It looks beautiful hanging over my living room couch on display with all the other festivities. When I’m chilly, I just throw it over me and it warms me up. So comfortable and cozy. This throw is super soft and the color and Santa pattern is vibrant and adorable! It is not very large or thick but I didn’t need it to be. It is a perfect light weight throw for our couch. I can fold it easily and throw it over the back of the couch and it lays nicely and gives a festive look to the room and then is accessible when needed without being bulky and in the way when you don’t need it. It is a great size to just lounge on the couch with for one adult or two kids. My 6 and 4 year old can snuggle under it together and they love it!

Nice and fluffy but too small for a big guy
He likes the pattern even though it’s too small 50×60 to cover much of a big guy. I could not find a twin size or a 60×70 like this, so I was thinking of sewing two of these together to get a 120x 50 8′ x 4′ for his bed. But it ended up in his closet. Until he got sick. Now it’s a colorful throw on top of his bedspread. Cute.

Frustrating shipping experience and poor quality product
Did not arrive on time for the holiday, although purchased a week before and listed as two day delivery. Sister did not receive her gift thanks to that.The item sat in my hometown from 5 am Friday, until Tuesday. It was anticipated to be here 4 days before Christmas, and showed up after.There was more than enough opportunity to keep your word on the delivery date. It was literally sitting in a building 10 minutes away from my home. Had the information been updated in shipping in a timely matter, I would have picked up myself. But, they had their money. It seems you’re on your own at that point.Item is thin and not quality graphics. Picture is pretty blurry. You have to really look to realize make everything out.Unfortunately very unimpressed with service and quality. Now I have to spend money on shipping to send the item late to sister, when she was just here yesterday. She won’t have it for the holiday as intended, also.I suggest using more reliable shipping if you care for your customer satisfaction. If not, the least you could do is use quality material for the product itself.Waited a week for a blanket that was nothing as described in photos or description. Nothing went well for this transaction. Only item shipped outside of Amazon, and only item that did not show up in timely manner.

Buy this blanket once, you’ll buy more
This just arrived and omg, I immediately bought two more to give as Christmas gifts. I was a little worried by reviews that said the barns were printed in the wrong direction… fortunately, whoever is doing the printing got that message and rectified it. Sorry folks with sideways barns, mine is perfect. Well, mostly perfect. The barns are a bit redder than the picture, and not quite as “elegant” as a result. Still, I love it.I can see why some people wrote that it’s “flimsy” – the blanket is very lightweight. That’s a good thing, though, after you sit with it on your lap for half an hour you’ll need to poke your feet out because it’s light as a feather but warm as a bun. It’s the softest blanket I’ve ever owned. I hope it washes well. My Mom wanted the “Gray Christmas tree” style which was unfortunately out of stock until after Christmas but now I can look forward to cozying up with it next year at her house when I’m allowed to visit again (hopefully, fingers crossed, stupid pandemic).

Cute But Sheds
This holiday throw is cute and very soft but it sheds horribly. When I took it out of the package, there was fluff everywhere and floating in the air. It was clinging to my clothes just from opening it. I took it outside to shake it out and the patio was covered with fluff afterward. I think I got most of it off, but I’m concerned about what will happen when I wash it.

Very soft.
I bought this in place of a tree skirt. Most of the skirts were Dry Clean Only. I have cats that love to lay under the tree so I needed something I could machine wash. Not to mention this blanket was half the price and looked very nice placed properly.The real test was how it would hold up to the washer and dryer and it did quite well. Came out just as soft with no damage to the stitching. Very pleased.Even though I didn’t use it for its intended purpose, I’m sure it would make a nice cozy throw.

Be aware…
This throw comes rolled up and wrapped in a label with washing instructions . If you are giving it as a gift be sure to unroll it and inspect it. Mine came with a big hole in in it so I have to return it. Also be aware that they are extremely thin with no lining at all.

Bought 2… One for me, one for a gift. I’m keeping mine as a decorative throw for my couch but have no desire to cozy up with it.Returning the other. It’s flimsy and light. Nothing that I’d want to give as a Christmas gift to someone.It’s really pretty though, but too thin and flimsy.

Simple fluffy blanket
The media could not be loaded.
Honestly, I just needed new blankets for the puppy to roll around in. This holiday version was marked down so it is a winner for me. The edges are a bit rough cut, but the stitching is strong. I wasn’t looking for great quality, just a good deal. This was exactly what I needed!

First I have to say that this beautiful blanket was supposed to be delivered a week later than I received it. I was SO impressed by that. I love to have these type of blankets around my front room during the holidays for family and friends to snuggle with.They are so soft and my daughter even commented to me where did I get this?!!
